What started with one man's passion for authentic Italian food has grown into a trusted supplier for restaurants and culinary professionals across the Netherlands.

Founder Matteo Vergine was born and raised in Italy, where appreciation for quality ingredients, regional traditions, and genuine craftsmanship is simply part of everyday life. After moving to the Netherlands, he noticed that many truly exceptional Italian products never reached the market in the way they deserved. That inspired him to build MV Import: a company dedicated to connecting Dutch professionals directly with carefully selected producers throughout Italy.
